Subscriptions and recurring charges

Find the subscriptions on your bank statement

Upload your statement PDF. We list every charge that repeats on a regular schedule, how often it lands, what it costs per month and per year, and where to cancel it when we know.

One statement is free and needs no account. You can choose several at once if you have statement credits.

How a charge is recognised

There is no list of known subscription companies behind this. We look at the dates and amounts on your statement and keep any payee that has taken money on a regular schedule (weekly, every two weeks, monthly, quarterly or yearly) at a steady price. That means it also finds bills and small services nobody has heard of. A one-off purchase at the same company is left out and does not hide the regular charge.

What each amount of history can show

A charge has to appear more than once before it can be called recurring, so what we find depends on how many months your statements cover. If an upload is too short for something, the results page says so.

Statements covering What can show up
One month Weekly charges (four in the month) and every-two-weeks charges (three). Monthly subscriptions appear only once, so they will not show yet.
Two months Monthly subscriptions and other monthly charges, with their cost per month and per year.
Three months Price rises: the same company charging you three times, with the latest charge more than 8% above the first.
More than three months Quarterly charges.
More than twelve months Yearly renewals, the charges that are easiest to forget because they only land once a year.

Subscriptions and regular payments

Rent, bills and transfers that go out on a schedule are listed apart, as regular payments: they count towards the yearly total, but they are not subscriptions and get no cancel advice.

Where to cancel

For the services listed below, the results page links to that company's own subscription or account page. For anything else we say that we do not have a link, rather than guess one. We do not cancel anything on your behalf and we charge nothing for the links.

Netflix, Spotify, Disney+, Hulu, Max, Paramount+, Peacock, Apple, Google, YouTube, Amazon Prime, Adobe, Microsoft, Dropbox, Notion, Canva, Figma, Anthropic, LinkedIn Premium, Duolingo, Patreon, Substack, New York Times, Nintendo

Cancelling the card is not cancelling the subscription. It stops the payment, not the agreement. Cancel with the company itself.

What it costs

Reading one statement, with every recurring charge we find in it and the cancel links, is free. Reading several statements together, which is what finds monthly, quarterly and yearly charges, needs statement credits or a plan. See prices.

Nothing stored

Your statement is read in memory to build the results page and never written to disk. We do not ask for your bank login.
