Your statement PDF: never stored

Het bestand dat u uploadt wordt gelezen in het geheugen van uw serververzoek terwijl uw resultatenpagina is gebouwd, en wordt vernietigd zodra de pagina rendert. Het is nooit geschreven naar de schijf, nooit een back-up, nooit verzonden naar iemand anders, en nooit gebruikt om iets te trainen. Er is geen vertraagde verwijdering en geen cron taak opruimen van kopieën later, omdat er geen kopie op te ruimen: verwijdering is direct door constructie. Dit betekent ook dat we het niet voor u kunnen herstellen: sluit het tabblad en het is weg.

De rijen op uw resultatenpagina

If your plan includes export, the rows already shown on your screen (dates, amounts, merchant names; never the PDF, never account numbers) are kept in your private session so the Export and Summary buttons work. They are deleted 30 minutes after the analysis, when you log out, or when you read another statement, whichever comes first. A job on our server checks every ten minutes and removes any that are older.

Waar we nooit om vragen.

Uw banking gebruikersnaam, wachtwoord of eenmalige codes. Niet optioneel, nooit. Geen functie van deze site verbindt met uw bank.

Uw account, als u een

De gratis tier heeft geen account nodig. Als u credits of een plan koopt, slaan we uw e-mailadres, een gehashed wachtwoord en uw credit balance op. Dat is de account. U kunt het op elk moment verwijderen van uw accountpagina, waardoor het onmiddellijk wordt verwijderd. Kaartgegevens gaan rechtstreeks naar de betalingsprocessor (Stripe of PayPal); ze raken nooit onze servers aan en we zien ze nooit.

Meting

We run our own first-party counters: which pages get visited and which buttons get clicked, with an IP address and session key used to filter out bots. We also use Clicky, a small analytics service, to count visits. Its script is served from our own domain and it sees which pages are viewed, never anything from a statement or an export. There is no Google Analytics and no advertising pixel on this site, and every script the site loads is served from our own domain. Counters are deleted after at most two years.

Berichten die u ons stuurt

If you write to us through the contact form we keep your email address and message so we can reply. Please don't paste statement contents into a message. The one exception is the blur tool: if we fail to read your statement, you can choose to black out your personal details in your browser and send us only the blacked-out page images so we can add support for your bank's layout. The original PDF never leaves your device, the images go only to our own inbox, and we delete them once the layout is supported.

De Android- en iPhone-apps

The ReadMyStatement apps send the statement you choose to our server over an encrypted connection, where it is read exactly like an upload on this site: in memory, and never stored. Nothing from it is kept on our server afterwards, not even the export rows, because the app builds its exports itself. Results are saved only on your phone, encrypted and left out of backups, and only while Keep results on this phone is switched on. You can delete them one by one or all at once, and removing the app removes them. Signing in uses the same account as this site, and you can delete that account from inside the app. If you sign in with Google or Apple we also keep the account identifier they send, and for Apple a token that lets us revoke the app's access to your Apple account when you delete yours. The apps contain no advertising, analytics or crash reporting libraries; our server keeps the same counters described under Measurement.

If this policy changes, the change appears on this page with a new date. The three promises above (no bank logins, no stored statements, no advertising trackers) are the product; a version of this site that breaks them is not this site.
